I build the systems
that power your product.
I'm George, a software engineer in London. I join product teams to design backend architectures, build full-stack features, and own the infrastructure underneath. TypeScript, Node.js, React, AWS.
Eight years across fintech, e-commerce, energy, and consumer tech. Pipelines handling 120K+ requests a day, payment system migrations, products used by thousands. I ramp up fast and I ship.

What I do
Backend
Event-driven architectures, GraphQL APIs, and microservices in Node.js and TypeScript. DDD, hexagonal architecture, and pipelines handling 120K+ requests a day.
Frontend
React and Next.js applications with clean component architecture, thorough test coverage, and pixel-accurate implementation.
Infrastructure
Lambda, Step Functions, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. I own the full lifecycle — build, deploy, monitor.
Technical direction
I bridge product goals and engineering execution. Architecture decisions, cross-team coordination, and mentoring.
Companies I've
worked with
FTSE 100 enterprises to venture-backed startups.
In their
words
From product leads, engineers, and clients I've worked alongside.
“From day one, George organised the project exceptionally well. He delivered an extremely well-written, well-documented and performant service in such a short time frame. Very impressive!”
“George made a transformational impact on how our squad operates. He proactively spearheaded new ways of working — most notably shaping how we break down ideas into tangible, buildable deliverables.”
“George left a huge legacy, with colleagues still asking after him two years later. I would have no concern in recommending George for myriad roles.”
“George is an absolute superstar. He's fantastic at digesting requirements and turning them into effective software. He's great at balancing requirements against software quality.”
“I genuinely feel he embodies the kind of person who lifts the entire team. I often run my ideas past him first because I both trust and value his opinions.”
